20年に渡り良質な音楽を輩出し続けるWarpへ、まずはおめでとう。初期のBleepからartificial intelligenceシリーズ、そして現在の多様な作品群。Warpは素晴らしいイギリスのレーベルのパーフェクトな代表例だよ。

現在人気急上昇中のロンドン在住イギリス人テクノ・プロデューサー。自身主宰のレーベル を軸として、近年では独の名門レーベルからシングル「Up」をリリースしクラブヒット。その後もAdam Beyerのレーベル、Chris Liebingによる等からダンスフロア・キラートラックを連発している。最近作はJosh WinkによるからリリースされたEP「Mathlete EP」。12月には東京／大阪へと再来日が決定している。

タイトル名：Surfing On Sine Waves
学生の時に購入してから、今日に至るまで僕をずっとインスパイアし続けてくれている一枚。ハードコアな'Quoth'から宅録アシッドハウスの'Polygon Window'、そしてアンビエントの'Quino-phec'、このアルバムは初期のAphexを形成するとても特別なものなんだ。タイトルとアートワークも完璧だし、個々のトラックは未だに僕のDJセットに組み込まれているよ。まさに永遠のクラシックアルバムだね。
I bought this album when I was a student and it continues to inspire me today. From the hardcore of 'Quoth' to the homemade acid house of 'Polygon Window' and the ambient 'Quino-phec', this album covers everything that makes early Aphex so special. The title and artwork are perfect and various tracks from the album still appear in my DJ sets. A classic and timeless album.
