1987年から1994年までオランダの名門ハーグ王立音楽院でトン・コープマン唯一の弟子としてオルガンとチェンバロを学び、アムステルダム・バロック・オーケストラ、エウロパ・ガランテ、ラ・ヴェネクシアーナなどでも活躍したイタリアの名鍵盤奏者ファビオ・ボニッツォーニ。ヘンデルのイタリアン・カンタータ集を完成させたアンサンブル、ラ・リゾナンサの主宰でもあるボニッツォーニ久々のソロ・レコーディングは、J.S.バッハの『フーガの技法』。
　未完のフーガが遺されるなど、現在でも謎多きバッハ最晩年の傑作『フーガの技法』。ボニッツォーニはベルリン国立図書館所蔵の自筆譜（P200）を使用し、最初の12曲を1台のチェンバロ、残りの5曲を2台のチェンバロで演奏するというアプローチを採用。コープマンの弟子として、ソリストとして、また様々なピリオド・アンサンブルでの演奏経験を反映させたボニッツォーニの『フーガの技法』。その行き先と答えに注目です。（東京エムプラス）
