    特に管がよく鳴っており、各パート、テクスチュアの経ちあがりもハッキリしていて色彩感豊かな演奏。既存版がモノ足りなく感じる瞬間があるくらい、巨大編成であったこと、バレエ音楽であったことを思い出させる。アシュケナージの、手首を使った指揮が目に見えてくるよう。
