Director of the Royal Conservatoire of Lige, pianist Stphane de May loves holds a teaching position in the piano classes at the Conservatoire of Rotterdam and at the HEMU of Sion in Switzerland. After his highly recommended recording (Fanfare, USA) of the Complete Chopin Nocturnes, his meeting with pianist and conductor Jean-Bernard Pommier led to this new recording of Chopin's two piano concertos. Mr. de May's discography encompasses the entire piano repertoire, up to and including recordings of contemporary music by Prt and Liebermann, among others.
