全体にテンポの速い、キビキビとした演奏。第2部終結部の高揚感がすばらしい。録音もホール全体の雰囲気を捉えている。エストニア号沈没事故のチャリティ演奏会のライブ録音で、深い祈りと鎮魂の思いに満ち溢れた演奏だ。

バーンスタインやテンシュテットなどの「最高！」盤があるため「すばらしい」止まりだが、こんなライブをナマで体験できたら 一生の思い出になっただろう。　ギャラ無し！ってことで、雑念が消えた演奏なのだろうか？
