    　最近入手したヴィヴァルディの『ファルナーチェ』でのチェンチッチ、ゴーヴァンの素晴らしさから、即座にこのヘンデルを購入。実はヘンデルは全曲盤を５０種は購入し、聴いています。この曲の成立史を聴く前に整理すると、ヘンデルがスターである一人のカストラート、一人の看板プリマ、新規の美貌で人気の歌手のデヴュという背景の中で、脚本内容も歌うアリアと二重唱の数、折り込まれた作曲技巧ともに、この３人の力を均等に、如何なく発揮させるれ必要がこのオペラにあったということです。セネジーノ＝アレッサンドロ＝チェンチッチ、クッツオーニ＝リザウラ＝ゴーヴァン、ファウスティーナ＝ロッサーネ＝レージネヴァという関係になります。(二人の女性は脚本で恋敵の関係！)従って、この３人の歌が如何に、声質、表現形式において、個性の発揮された歌唱と演奏になっているかが、この歌劇鑑賞のポイントだと思います。その意味で、この録音ほど、ヘンデルの歌劇の過激なまでの官能性を味わえるＣＤはありません。歌手の選定は最高のものです。以前に名盤の誉れ高い、クイケン指揮の録音での演奏の様式性や統一性も素晴らしいのですが、今回のペトルー盤は３人の主人公の声質の多様性と個性と共に、バロックの自由さと愉悦があり評価したいです。

    ジャケ買いしそうだよ、これ。しかし、む〜ん、顔ほどに声にも凄みがほしいよね。迫力不足。ヴィジュアルがいいだけに残念。選曲は敵役のアリアなので普段あんまり聴かないアリア集となっていてそれは面白いと思います。
