ソウルの女王の名に相応しく、Aretha Franklinに負けず劣らずのミュージシャン、シンガー達の豪華共演が1枚に収められた、一挙に楽しめるお得感のあるアルバムであり、彼女自身の歩んできた歴史を振り返る資料的価値の高い作品でもあると思います。The Rolling StonesのKeith Richardsとは、そのStonesの名曲である“Jumpin’ Jack Flash”をロックしつつも、自分のカラーに染め上げてしまうArethaの存在感は本物です。先日亡くなったWhitney Houstonやex.EurhythmicsのAnnie Lennox、Mariah Careyも勿論ご存知のように、素晴らし過ぎるくらいの才能豊かな人ですが、御大Arethaの前では、まだまだ若手しい初々しさで、本来の彼女達の才能が霞んでしまうほどであると感じてしまうほどです。個人的には、堂々と自身のスタイルを貫いて渡り合っているのは、George MichaelとElton Johnではないでしょうか？聴き応え十分の楽曲に仕上がっていると思います。今までAretha未経験の人にも、お薦めできる1枚です★彡

Arethaのﾃﾞｭｴｯﾄ･ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ！ﾏﾗｲｱにﾎｲｯﾄﾆｰにﾒｱﾘｰJが参加！なんて豪華なんだぁ！と期待していたが…過去の楽曲の寄せ集め。まぁ、ｻﾝﾄﾗに収録されたﾒｱﾘｰとの最新ﾃﾞｭｴｯﾄはまだ持ってないし、ﾌｧﾝﾃｲｼﾞｱとｼﾞｮﾝ･ﾚｼﾞｪﾝﾄﾞとの新曲ﾃﾞｭｴｯﾄも収録されるようなのでこの３曲を目当てに買いますが…。でも、既発ばかりでちょっとｶﾞｯｶﾘ…。
