Alicia Keysのニューアルバム『As I Am』が全米チャートに続きオリコンのウィークリー･チャート洋楽部門で1位を獲得！！しかも、総合チャートでも4位と洋楽アーティストとしては大健闘！11/30（金）には「とくダネ！」に生出演！

★12月1日付けのビルボード200で初登場1位を獲得。Nielsen SoundScan史上、女性R&Bアーティストとして最も高いセールスを記録した初登場1位
★2004年以来最高の発売週セールスを記録した女性アーティスト（女性ソロ1位はNorah Jones『Feels Like Home』の100万枚）

『Songs In A Minor』、『Diary Of』の2枚のオリジナル･アルバムと1枚のライヴアルバム『Unplugged』。たった3枚のアルバムで、スターダムにのし上がったAlicia Keys。「たった」とは言ったものの、その完成度の高さはそんじょそこらのシンガーの足元には及ばないのは、音楽ファンなら誰しもわかっているはず。期待通り、いや期待以上の「ソウル」をいつも聴かせてくれる彼女が、待望の3rdアルバム『As I Am』をリリースしました。

アルバムには、専属プロデューサー・チームKerry "Krucial" Brothers、Harold Lilly、Mark BatsonやJack Splash（Plantlife)、天才ソングライターJohn Mayerに加え、ロックバンド4 Non Blondsの元メンバーで、Gwen StefaniやPink、Christina Aguileraの作品も手がけたLinda Perryが制作に関わっております。
