元ジェネシスのギタリストにして現代のプログレッシヴロックの伝道師 スティーヴ・ハケット。近年は、ジェネシス楽曲を演奏したライヴ作品や、ハンガリーのジャズロックバンド、ジャイブ (djabe) との共演を行なうなど精力的に活動。2021年初頭には、自身の地中海旅行をモチーフに制作された『Under A Mediterranean Sky』をリリースしたばかりのハケットが早くも最新作をリリースする。
2018年10月4日の英ロイヤルフェスティヴァルホール公演を収めた『Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra: Live At The Royal Festival Hall』、そして今年リリースされ、全英クラシカルアルバムチャートの2位にランクインした『Under A Mediterranean Sky』に続く、壮大で繊細なオーケストレーションを導入した最新アルバム『Surrender Of Silence』。
