ロックとアンビエントの美しき交差点！
世界のダンス・ミュージックシーンを牽引してきた説明不要のエレクトロニック・ユニット アンダーワールドのフロントマン / ヴォーカリストであるカール・ハイドによる、キャリア初となるソロ・デビュー・アルバムがリリース！
『Edgeland』と名付けられた今作は、ブライアン・イーノ主導で進められた『Pure Scenius』プロジェクトを通し知り合った、レオ・アブラハムスとカールの共同プロデュース作で、アルバムの歌詞とコンセプトは都市の奥地や隠れた街角にインスパイアされており、アンダーワールド作品に比べよりオーガニックで壮大な音楽作品となっている模様です。
尚、国内通常盤にはボーナストラック2曲、デラックス・エディション盤にはさらに4曲を追加した計6曲(全15曲）に約50分の映像作品（日本語字幕付）が収録され日本先行でのリリース予定となりますので要チェック！
またカール・ハイドは、4月に日本で行われる「SonarSound Tokyo 2013」で初のソロ名義バンドセットでのライブを披露する予定となっていますのでこちらも注目です！！
