1994年よりスペインはバルセロナを拠点に ロンドン、ニューヨーク、ブエノスアイレス、サンパウロ、ソウル、フランクフルト、そしてここ日本など、世界各地で開催されている最先端音楽とメディア・アートの祭典、ソナー・サウンド（Sónar Sound）。
今回も国内外から現在のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・シーンにおいて最も重要なラインナップを取り揃えて日本での開催が決定！ 『SónarClub』『SónarLab』『SónarComplex』、そして Red Bull Music Academyがキュレーターを務める『SonarDôme』と4つのステージが同時進行する。
音楽のみならずアート・インスタレーション、オーディオ/ヴィジュアル・パフォーマンス、トーク・ショウ、ユニークなフード・エリアなど、世界で最も先進的かつ特別なSónarの魅力を伝える様々なプログラムを用意。 先鋭的で実験性に溢れる姿勢と、幅広いカルチャーを組み合わせた独特のコンテンツ、そして素晴らしい出演アーティストによって、他の音楽フェスティバルとは一線を画す内容となっている。
