I’m convinced the recordings come from master tapes despite the slight overload during crescendi. I especially enjoy the Brahms.

Amazing performance and sound for the age of the recording. Crystal clear monaural. Oistrakh was such a genius!

A superlative set that represents a very important augmentation to the PRAGA, Melodiya, and Victor sets. Richter satisfies consistently! Thank you Hungary Radio!

A very satisfying mix of Richter Chopin specialties from live concerts masterfully dramatized. Prominent among these： the scherzo and polonaise fantasie, op.61. The sound is quite adequate.

Quite good sound. Different from the Brilliant classics set. Some pieces performed in Leningrad. Great Richter!
