穏やかだけど締めるところはきちんと抑えて、ちょっとしたクセみたいなところもあって、ほんとにいいですねえ。ブラームスが好きだというこの指揮者の気持ちがよくわかります。それと、大学祝典序曲も結構すごくないですか。1 people agree with this review

ゆったりとした穏やかな雰囲気はこの大指揮者の常だが，終曲などテンポが実によく工夫され，不自然さは皆無。これが８７歳の老人の音楽だろうか。弾力的なリズムの冴えが，若々しささえ感じさせる。1 people agree with this review
