クレンペラーのバイエルンライブは、ベートーヴェンも、当盤もそれぞれの曲の最右翼の名演奏だと思います、モノラルながら、強靭なピチカートをはじめ、内声が鮮やかに聴こえてきます。ブラームス の第三楽章ではクレンペラーの唸り声が聞こえる熱演ですが、最後まで勢いに流れず、広々とした景観を感じさせる演奏です。2 people agree with this review
