クリスタ・ルートヴィヒ～バースデイ・エディション（2DVD）2008年３月で80回目の誕生日を迎えるクリスタ･ルートヴィヒの２枚組記念ＤＶＤ。１枚目はシューベルトの『冬の旅』を収録。２枚目にはチャールズ・スペンサーを伴奏に迎え、シューベルトやバーンスタイン、マーラー、ヴォルフを歌ったリサイタルの模様を収録。
特典映像として、ドラベルラを演じた1970年の『コシ・ファン・トゥッテ』や1982年のヴェルディ『ファルスタッフ』、ウィーンで行われたマスタークラスの模様など、初出映像が満載の２００分。1994年に引退してもなお、輝き続けるルートヴィヒ。その暖かい声質と豊かな表現力は20世紀の至宝とも呼び得るものでしょう。（ナクソス）
