スティーリー・ダン 26年ぶりのライヴアルバム『Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live!』

スティーリー・ダン『Alive in America』以来実に26年ぶりとなるライヴアルバム『Northeast Corridor: Steely Dan Live!』が発売される。ニューヨークのビーコンシアター、LAのオルフェウムシアター、フィラデルフィアのメットフィラデルフィアなどで録音された音源を収録。

「Black Cow」「Kid Charlemagne」「Rikki Don't Lose That Number」「Aja」「Peg」「Any Major Dude Will Tell You」といった代表曲をはじめ、2000年代の佳曲「Things I Miss the Most」、ジョー・ウィリアムズのカヴァー「A Man Ain't Supposed to Cry」など全12曲。

アルバムの発売に先がけて「Reelin' In The Years」(オリジナルは1stアルバム『Can't Buy A Thrill』に収録) が先行配信されている。

スティーリー・ダンのドナルド・フェイゲンが1982年に発表した初ソロアルバム『The Nightfly』。「I.G.Y.」「New Frontier」などを収録した 80年代ロック～ポップスの金字塔的作品でもある本作を、ニューヨーク、ビーコンシアターにて全曲再現したライヴの模様を収録した『The Nightfly Live』が発売される。

バックを務めるのは、ジム・ベアード (key)、ジョン・ヘリントン (g) 、キース・カーロック (ds) らスティーリー・ダン・バンド。
