星３を付けているが、中身は2ぐらい。北欧のオケだからとか、英国のオケ、指揮者だからというのは全くナンセンスであることの見本。ヤンソンスはこの後バイエルンと同曲の録音があり、それはトップクラスの名演を聴かせてくれる。こういうことを思えばオケによるのか、指揮者によるのか、はたまた両方なのか、録音時のコンディションによるのか、こんなことは他の演奏でもしばしばあるが、物理的な解明は出来ないだろう。
