　小川高夫(as)を迎えて、ルーファス・リード(b)タナ・アキラ(ds)とのトリオ・カルテットで奏でるクニ・ミカミの凱旋録音。
　クニ・三上は1970年代半ばからＮＹに在住、バリー・ハリス、ノーマン・シモンズに師事、1991年からライオネル・ハンプトン楽団のレギュラー・ピアニストとして公私ともにハンプとともにあった。ハンプは自分を入れたカルテットで時々演奏、2002年ハンプがなくなると、そうしたハンプの魂を引き継いだ「A Trio Of Four」を結成、ハンプの精神を継承する活動を続けている。
