    この半年間探していたCDでやっと入手できた。１０数年まえ、一度購入したが手放してしまったCD。メインは（皇帝円舞曲）。WFのCDを持っているがワルターで最度ぜひ、と思った。ステレオCDのウィーン風の軽い演奏よりシンフォニックな演奏の（皇帝ワルツ）を聴きたかった（WFの演奏もとても好きで、むしろワルターよりウィーン風な響きがある）。曲によって出来不出来はあるだろうが満足である。ハンガリー舞曲も、他のCDも聴いているがワルターのは一違った味の濃さがあり、どの曲もスケール感とニュアンスが豊かで、やはり巨匠の演奏は素晴らしい。
