Bobbi Rogers is a well-established East Coast jazz singer, having performed with her legendary musician friends Gene Bertoncini, Dave McKenna, and Tony Monte. Two of her previous albums, Tommy Wolf Can Really Hang You Up The Most and Crystal & Velvet, continue to receive airplay from dee-jays of a more refined taste. Here Bobbi performs songs from the Great American Songbook with her innately unique interpretations of mood and lyrics. Marvelously sensitive piano-voice duets and delightfully swinging bass-voice duets are featured among the offerings. Pianist Ray Kennedy, who has performed in over 23 countries, is best known as the former pianist/composer/arranger with The John Pizzarelli Trio. His own CD Mozart In Jazz received the prestigious Gold Disc award in Japan in April of 2006. Bassist brother Tom is a key member of the Dave Weckl Band. Much to his credit, Tom has contributed to over 200 recordings himself!
