    この本に関しては、アイヌの民話に詳しくない方は、最後のページの萱野氏の文章を読んで、アイヌにおける人間と神の関係を知っておくといいかもしれません。 アイヌの神は、神道の神以上に人間的に感じられます。 そもそも、地上にいたずらをしようとする時点で、キリスト教などとは違いますし、そこに他の神が巻き込まれてしまうのもおかしい。 神に負けない人間がいたりもして、その正体がわかる。 アイヌの家には、たくさんの神がいます。 そのことがわかる、一つの物語だと思います。
