何より嬉しかったのが、「Spanish Fly LIVE IN SPAIN」には未収録だった「Turn to Me」がちゃんと入ってること。このナンバー、1984年リリース「New Sensations」に収録されている。

否定的な意見があることは理解できる。「Metal Machine Music」と銘打たれてはいるが、これは「ミュージック」ではない。だから、「ミュージック」として聴けば、最低評価になるのは当然である。ただ、人間には感情とか情動とかがあって、なんとなくむしゃくしゃしたり、どんなに「いい音楽」「好きな曲」でも「今はこれ、聴きたくない」という気分の時があったりする。そういう気分をリセットするには最適だ。いわゆる「毒気を抜かれる」というやつかもしれないが、私は年に数回、そういう聴き方をしている。発表から３７年。入手してから３４年。今もその「効能」は有効だ。
