全体的にオフ気味で録音されてるから、各楽器の鳴りがよくわかります。特にドラムが顕著。バンドでDrやってますがこのアルバムを聴く度に、スタジオで叩いている時の感覚が腕や手の内に蘇ってくる。（このアルバムで使われてるドラムキットはどこのブランドか、どなたかご存知でしょうか？）次はベース！ファンクにタメたり、地味に派手なフレーズを爆発させたりと最高！このアルバムはベースラインだけに集中して聴いてみるとこれまた面白い。そして静かにきらめくローズにも感無量etc、、、。ジョンレノン、カーティスメイフィールド、ジミヘンドリクス、ファンカデリック、オーティスクレイなど様々な先人達の姿が浮かんできますが、最高なロックアルバムです！RAWな音創りとレニーの抜きんでた才能とセンスで産み出された大名盤。こういうアルバムはこれからも流行に左右されず、永遠に輝き続けるでしょう。
