This album and the musicians are perhaps the tightest trio (actually a 4th member) of Rock musicians in history. I saw them live in Oakland, California - I was blown away at the technical abilities of all of the band members. They played hard and fast, and every note was PERFECT. Like a techno DJs slider switching the fader as fast as his hand can move, causing fraction-of-a-second moments of silence, or breaks in the music; that is what all of the members of TCV sounded like when they were playing - absolutely perfect. You must see these guys in concert to believe it. The image that kept going through my mind was - this is what it must have been like for those first fans at the Monterey Pop Festival, when they experienced Jimi Hendrix for the first time.. It was that unbelievable.
