昨年、アップル・ミュージック独占でデジタル・リリースされたグラスパーのホリデイ・アルバムがCD・LPでフィジカル・リリース。「みんながよく知っている曲をカバーするのが好きなんだ。私のキャリアを通してずっとそうしてきた」と話すグラスパーはこれまでもジャズ・ピアニストとして、モンゴ・サンタマリアやカート・コバーンが書いたクラシックを自分のものにしてきたが、「ホリデー・アルバムを作る上での最大の挑戦は、祝祭感を感じさせると同時に、現実的で陳腐にならないようにすることだった」とコメント。 Spatial Audioでレコーディングされた、トニー賞受賞者のシンシア・エリヴォ（『カラーパープル』）が歌う「God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen」や、ダークでエアリーなネオ・ソウルに変身し、アレックス・アイズレーが歌う「Joy to the World」のような定番クリスマス・キャロルのカバーとオリジナルを収録。
