このトリオはほぼビル・エヴァンストリオと同じ感じ。硬質でメロディアスなピアノタッチ、よく歌うベース、でしゃばらないドラム。ゲッツは絶好調。OLD DEVIL　MOON以外全てバラード。OLD DEVIL　MOONはアルバムの中間にあるので、ちょうど良い。ゲッツは大切に美しく歌い上げる。音はよく、各楽器が適切に分離して聞こえる。ゲッツはバラードが一番良いと思うので、是非とも揃えたい1枚。名盤。
