まず、ジャケットの異様さが買う人をひかせてしまうのだろうか？　なぜこの絵なのか？　詳しくはライナーノートを参照いただきたいがそれにしても･･･。　　で、内容だが私は充実していると思う。曲目もアファナシエフならではの選曲。幻想曲の、霊魂が浮遊するような雰囲気、ハ短調（破綻調？）ソナタの疾走する絶望感･･･。音の芯（？）が強く、あいまいな部分がない。彼の演奏だから軽やかな演奏はあり得ない。だから愉悦感あふれる軽やかなモーツァルトを期待される方にはお勧めできない。その代わり普段のモーツァルトにはない「裏の顔」、言いかえるとモーツァルトの心の闇というか振幅の広さを感じたい方に試していただきたい。こういった演奏も許容できるモーツァルトの音楽ってやはり凄いと感じてしまう。　　それにしてもこのジャケットはなぁ・・・。
