1983年3月リリース、サウンド・プロデューサーに土屋昌巳（一風堂）を迎え、「和風シンセ・ポップの名盤」として国内外で評価の高い、シンガーソングライター山口美央子（やまぐちみおこ）の3rdアルバム『月姫』。
2023年3月に40周年記念盤が完全生産限定2枚組CDでリリースされたのに続き、待望のアナログLPが発売。今回のリイシューに際しては、砂原良徳による2023年最新リマスタリング音源からカッティングを行っている。

盤面はMoonlight Vinyl（透明イエロー）仕様。
アルバム未収録曲「夏（Instrumental）」をボーナス収録し、一部曲順の変更を施している。
