「オリジナル・アナログマスターテープから192kHz/24bitマスタリング、ダイナミック・レンジの幅が広く、楽器のテクスチャを細かく捉えた優秀録音（ステレオ）です。」とのことですが、聴き易いにしても高音域が強調？されており低音域は貧弱に聴こえます。従ってティンパニの音も良く聴こえないので田園の嵐などは物足りなさが残ります。ですから「まるでウィーン・フィルがムジークフェライン・ザールで演奏しているような感じ」と書かれていますが、そんな感じは受けませんでした。ただ演奏そのものは立派なもので田園にしてもエグモントにしても特に後半から最後の部分は聴きものです。それだけにリマスタリングの品質が惜しまれます。
