全曲エールの書き下ろしの話題のサントラ。95年にソース・レーベルより発売されたコンピ『Source Lab』に参加、以来注目を高めるようになったこのユニット。そしてデビュー・アルバム『ムーン・サファリ』が国外でその名を知らしめることに。映画はあの巨匠フランシス・コッポラの愛娘、ソフィア・コッポラ初監督。エールの音楽に魅せられたソフィアが自らラヴ・コールをしたとか。

映画の世界観を見事に表してますね。有名な電話ごしにレコードをやりとりするシーンで使われている曲を聴くと切なくなります。Airの『Playground Love』やGilbert O'Sullivanの『Alone Again』、10ccの『I'm Not In Love』など名曲揃いです
