ニューオーリンズR&Bの巨人、アラン・トゥーサンの最新作は、豪華ミュージシャンを迎えて制作された、ニューオーリンズ色豊かなスタンダード・アルバム！ 2005年のコンピレーション『I Believe To My Soul』で共に仕事をしたプロデューサー、ジョー・ヘンリーはいつか、アランともう一度アルバムを作りたいと考えていたそう。 そのジョーがアランのために選んだ楽曲はデューク・エリントン、セロニアス・モンク、ジャンゴ・ラインハルト、ジェリー・ロール・モートンなどのスタンダード！

【プロフィール】
Allen Toussaint, 1938年1月14日は、米国ルイジアナ州ニューオーリンズ生まれのピアニスト、歌手、ソングライター、プロデューサー。自らの演奏活動の他に、特に1960年代から70年代にかけて数多くのアーティストのプロデュース、作曲、編曲を手がけ、ニューオーリンズのR&Bシーンを影から支えてきた。彼が関わったアーティストは、アーマ・トーマス、リー・ドーシー、アーニー・ケイドー、ミーターズ、ラベル、ポール・サイモン、ザ・バンドなど、広範囲に渡る。
