全世界でNo 1を誇るハウスレーベル：Defectedディレクター、DJ、A&R。
80年代初頭、ウェスト・ロンドンを拠点にインディ・レコードショップで勤務する傍らDJキャリアをスタート。モータウン、フィリーソウルからハウスまでこよなく愛し、音楽とビジネス、両視点においてその卓越したセンスとスキルで彼のパーティーは瞬く間にUK全域を制覇。後にはイビザやサウスポートと活動の場を広げ、Roger Sanchez、Norman Jay、Gilles Petersonらとも共演し人気を博す。また10000枚以上のレコードを所有し、「Blues & Soul」等で執筆する等ジャーナリストとしても有名。90年代にはCooltempo〜AM:PMとメジャーレコード会社でA&Rとしても手腕を発揮。Juliet RobertsからJanet Jackson、MAW、Gangstarr、Arrested Development、Ultra Nate等ハウスからヒップホップまで手掛け多彩な才能を発揮する。99年には悲願であった自身のレーベル：Defectedを立ち上げシーンに重要なシングルヒットを多数輩出。またDefectedブランドを確立したパーティーをベースとしたミックスCD" In The House"シリーズではBob Sinclar、Dimitri From Paris、Danny Krivit、MAW、Gilles Peterson等ワールドワイドに活躍するビッグネームを起用し、シリーズ通して驚異的なセールスを連立、ミックスCDの新たな方向性を示す事に成功。現在Defectedがレジデントを務めるイビザ"Pacha"でのパーティーも盛況を収め、ワールドNo.1ハウス・レーベルとしての地位を確立した現在もA&R、またDJとして世界中を飛び回る毎日を送っている。
