Is It Really Happening This Time? - My Bloody Valentine Remasters!

Having cancelled the release of both of much-awaited titles, i.e. a special box set and papersleeve reissues, every My Bloody Valentine fan is entitled to fear if their are really playing Fuji Rock this year after all... Amidst such speculations the band have officially announced to release "Isn't Anything"and "Loveless" remasters in the UK!

Kevin Shields will remaster both of the titles. While "Isn't Anything" will be on one CD the "Loveless" remaster will be double-disc!

Speaking of the latter, for Disc 1 the artist will be using DAT masters while for Disc 2 analogue tape materials. It will be fun to check the difference between the sounds of the two separate discs!

Kevin Shields Collaborating with Patti Smith!

Patti Smith will her "Coral Sea" recordings at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on 22nd June 2005 and on 12th November 2006 as a two-disc live album "Coral Sea"! She dedicated the performance to the deceased Robert Maplethorpe. She recites her own poem collections "Coral Sea" to Kevin Shields' guitars and effects in the back on both dates.
