Klaxons いよいよ国内盤リリース ！

昨年のArctic Monkeysに続くUKインディ・シーンの大型新人、2007年のブレイク筆頭候補として並々ならぬ熱い視線を集めるバンド、Klaxons（クラクソンズ）。
“New Rave”と呼ばれるバンドの代表的存在であるKlaxonsのサウンドは、USのRaptureやRadio 4、!!!等に代表される所謂“ディスコ・パンク”と呼ばれるサウンドをイギリス的に進化させたもので、イギリスの主要メディアはもちろんのこと、各国のクラブ・シーンからもプロップスを集めている（欧州でシングルはフランスのクリエイター集団＜Kitsune＞からリリースされている）。
Klaxonsは、Jamie Reynolds(vo/bass)、James Righton(vo/Key)、Simon Taylor (vo/guitar)からなるイギリス、ニュー・クロス出身の3人組。
2006年3月に＜Angular Recordings＞からデビュー・シングル“Gravity's Rainbow/The Bouncer”をリリースし、プレスした500枚を即ソールド・アウト。同年6月には“Atlantis to Interzone/4 Hoursemen of 2012”を＜Merok＞からリリースし、瞬く間に1,000枚を売り切った。このたった2枚のEPで彼らは、世界から注目されるきっかけを手に入れることに成功した。
発売中の『Xan Valleys EP』はNMEのシングル・オブ・ザ・ウィークにも輝いたインディ時代の2枚のEP(現在は入手困難)にリミックス2曲を加えた編集盤で、インディ最後のリリースとなる。
2007年最初にして最大の衝撃になるでろうデビュー･アルバム『Myths Of The Near Future』は既に入荷済み。
日本盤は一寸送れて3月に発売で、ボーナス・トラック＆PVを追加収録。更にスペシャル・プライス￥1,980（￥2,200から大幅値下げ敢行！）と大盤振る舞い！！
