☆まずはこちらのご紹介から！雑誌「remix」が責任監修・選曲を行なったDubコンピレーションアルバムのリリース！
レゲエから生まれ、今や全てのクラブミュージックに於いてその手法が無くてはならないものとなったDub。
日本のレゲエ／クラブシーンで革新的にDub的手法を取り入れているアーティストの作品を、老舗雑誌「remix」がコンパイル。そしてその参加アーティストは実に多彩であります。
日本のアンダーグラウンドなクラブミュージックシーンを知る上でも重要な一枚です！

☆Dub Step
UKのアンダーアンダーグラウンドシーンで非常に盛り上がっているシーン、ダブステップ。
Rob Smithもそのシーンに注目しており、ダブステップシーンが今後日本でもさらに盛り上がりそうです！
そんななかで一枚、国内盤リリースが決まったアイテムがあるのでご紹介。
その名はBurialというのですが、＜Hyperdub＞というダブステップサウンドのレーベル主宰者であり、Aphex Twinのレーベルである＜Rephlex＞からリリースされたコンピレーション『Grime 2』にも参加しているKode 9によるソロユニット。
そのBurialのサウンドはというと、ディープで深くて重い音響のダブステップサウンドで、パフォーマンスを一切しないというところも含めてRhythm & Soundをよく引き合いに出されるというのも頷けます。
さらに今作、今回日本に設立された＜Rough Trade Japan＞からのリリースということも要注目です！

やはり代表的な存在として挙げられるのは、Rhythm & Soundでしょう。
そのRhythm & Soundの顔として数多くの名曲を＜Burial Records＞よりリリースしているTikimanことPaul St. Hilaireの2ndアルバムが自身のレーベル＜False Tuned＞よりリリースされます！

ここのところで非常に盛り上がっているディスコダブ。コズミックスタイル、そしてバレアリックなサウンドを特徴としたものを総じて指すことがおおいですが、その代表的アーティストというとLindstrom & Prins ThomasやDJ Harveyといったところでしょう。
まず、Lindstrom & Prins Thomasとして＜Eskimo＞よりリリースされた『Lindstrom & Prins Thomas』は現在も売れ続けており、大ヒット作品となりました。
その片割れであるLindstromが自身のレーベル＜Feedelity＞より、ソロアルバム『It's a Feedelity Affair』をリリース！
もともと＜Feedelity＞より12"シングルとしてリリースされていたものをコンパイルしCD化した作品。ソロの作品のCDリリースは初なので、まさにファン待望といえる一枚になりました！
