ストーリー
１９世紀、欧州の中国侵攻により円明園より十二支のブロンズ像≪十二生肖≫が略奪された。そして現代、発見された数体のブロンズ像は美術品のオークションによって高値で売買され、逆に過去に強奪された国宝を元の国へ返却するという運動も活発化していた。そんな中アンティーク・ディーラー大手のマックス・プロフィット社は、全てのブロンズ像を探し出しオークションに出品すべく、腕利きのトレジャーハンターJCを雇う。高額の報酬に惹かれ依頼を承諾したJCは、メンバーのサイモン、デビッド、ボニーとともに作戦を開始した。それは世界各地で本物を探し出しながら、精巧に偽造されたイミテーションとすり替えるというものであった。本物の十二生肖を求めて、国宝返却運動家でもある古美術専門の学生ココ、十二生肖の１つ“鶏”の所有者でもある破産中の元富豪キャサリンを“騙して”仲間に加え、パリ、南太平洋、中国世界各地を飛び回るJCたち。各地で必ず現れる強敵と闘いながら、一つまた一つと十二生肖は集まっていく。 だが、どうしても見つからない“辰”のドラゴン像には思いもよらない陰謀が隠されていた。そして、ドラゴン像を巡りJCたちの真の敵がその姿を現すのであった・・・。
