Wow! Sonic perfection! Jochum was a master with Brahms, and the VPO is the perfect band to express it. And thanks to the Japanese for making so many wonderful recordings available to us -- Darryl, Dallas TX

Not typically a lone dissenter, I’ll register some displeasure with the horrible recorded sound, and the fact that the discs were very scratched and dirty from this Russian source.
