    テラークの一連のロシアもの録音はヤルヴィの本望では無い気がする。もちろんこれも高水準で手堅い演奏なのだが、突き抜けた何かが無い。特に展覧会の絵は名盤が多いので、それに対抗できるのか疑問。オーケストラもアメリカ的な合理的演奏というか、譜面に忠実だけど遊びがないといいますか。モスクワ川の夜明けはアバドだと中間テンポを落としてからアップですが、これは一本調子。
