競合盤の多いモーツァルトのヴァイオリン・ソナタだが、バリリの端整なヴァイオリンによるウィーン風モーツァルトは貴重だ。オットリとしたバドゥラスコダのピアノとの相性も良い。ウェストミンスターの録音は現在はユニバーサル盤だが、リマスターの違いをほとんど感じさせないほど個性的で、独特なハイ上がりの録音はそれなりにチャーミング。

Beautifully shaped performances by both artists. This repetoire probably cannot be played better. Moving and idiomatic.
