On my point of view, simply the best Hammerklavier after Richter and Gilels. Adagio sostenuto is played just Adagio (dur:23’07), but not forced in the manner some pianist try to show themselves more interesting than they are in truth. Also the first sonata is superb, but the third movement is not at Richter’s level.2 people agree with this review
