Good There are ,however, two drawbacks in this version.Firstly the sound has been transferred at a low level robbing it of some of the impact it ideally needs and secondly the level of competition in this price range.For exactly the same price you can get Barenboim and the Chicago Symphony, with a coupling, in a more inspirational interpretation and better recording.Value for money??.I would choose Barenboim

「英雄の生涯」を最初に聴いたのが、このブロムシュテット盤だが、意外な聴かせ上手を実感した。この曲には、マゼールの旧録音とサバリッシュ盤がある。ショルティ、ライナーは早すぎる。定評のあるカラヤン（2度目の録音、国内盤は録音がよくないらしい)はしつこいとの評もあったが、確かにうるさい。
