『Live Aid』ほかDVD注目作品！

80年代音楽シーンの一大モニュメント！ 飢餓で苦しむエチオピアを救うべく立ち上がったミュージシャンが集結した伝説的なコンサート『Live Aid』の模様が約20年の月日を経て遂に映像化！85年7月13日にロンドン・ウェンブリー・アリーナとフィラデルフィアJFKスタジアムの2箇所で行われた世界的な規模のコンサート「Live Aid」は、チャールズ皇太子とダイアナ妃の列席の元、ロンドン・ウェンブリー・アリーナで開幕、追ってフィラデルフィアJFKスタジアムのステージもスタートしました。両会場は衛星中継でリンクされており、英国側と米国側でやりとりをしながらステージは進行していきます。参加アーティストはQueen、Eric Clapton、U2、Mick Jagger、Keith Richards、Bob Dylan、Phil Collins、Beach Boys、David Bowie、The Who、Elvis Costello、Madonna、Neil Young、 Judas Priest 、Black Sabbath、Duran Duran、Hall & Oatesなどなど、当時のスーパースターが勢揃い！ロンドンでは“Do They Know It’s Christmas?”で、フィラデルフィアでは“We Are The World”でフィナーレを迎える感動のステージです！
待望のDVD化となった本作には約8時間、ほぼ100曲にも及ぶ両会場でのパフォーマンスのほか、オーストラリアからのイン・エクセスなど2会場以外から中継されたパフォーマンス、ボブ・ゲルドフの活動を中心に追ったドキュメンタリー映像、“Do They Know It’s Christmas?”や“We Are The World”のヴィデオ・クリップも併せて収録。しかも初回盤は初回限定プライス￥9,990（税込み）での発売となります。
