1967年11月〜1968年５月にディック・ジェームズ・スタジオで録音されながらも、お蔵入りとなっていた エルトン・ジョン 幻のデビューアルバム『Regimental Sgt. Zippo』。2020年発売のボックスセット『Jewel Box』の〈RARITIES: PART TWO 1968〉セクションに収録され陽の目を見た同アルバムの11曲が、未発表音源１曲を追加してついにCDで単体リリース。
2021年のレコードストアデイではモノラル音源のアナログレコードが先行で限定発売されたが、今回のCDには、モノラルとステレオの両ヴァージョンを収録。さらには、『Jewel Box』にも収められなかった未発表音源「You'll Be Sorry To See Me Go」が追加収録される。
