スティーヴ・ミラー・バンド絶頂期の秘蔵音源が解禁。1977年、通算10枚目のアルバム『Book of Dreams (ペガサスの祈り)』発表後の〈Book Of Dreams 1977 Tour〉より、8月3日メリーランド州ランドオーヴァー・キャピタルシアターでのコンサートの模様を収録した『Live! Breaking Ground / August 3, 1977』が 5/14 (金) に全世界同時リリースされる。

スティーヴ・ミラーとベン・シドランのペンによる「Space Cowboy」や隠れた名曲として人気の高い「Serenade (星空のセレナーデ)」をはじめ、「Fly Like An Eagle」「Rock'N Me」「The Joker」という怒濤の3連発は圧巻。デヴィッド・デニー (g)、ロニー・ターナー (b)、ゲイリー・マラバー (ds) など最も充実していた時期のメンバーによる熱狂のライヴアルバムがここに登場する。
