When registration for Ponta is complete, you will immediately be able to earn, and use Ponta Point on HMV&BOOKS online.

Ponta Card will be required to use the points at physical HMV STORES, or other physical Ponta partmenship stores. If you register to Ponta from HMV&BOOKS online and do not have a card, we will send you a new Ponta Card within 1 - 2 weeks.

1. If you wish to own a Ponta Card, please inform the staff at the cachier. You will be able to earn points instantly. To use Ponta Points, you must register through HMV&BOOKS online.

2. If you already own a Ponta Card, you can use and earn Ponta Points instantly.

- To use Ponta Points, registration must be completed.
- To earn extra points from HMV's ongoing campaigns, you must be registered to HMV&BOOKS online.

-IMPORTANT NOTICE to Customers' who registered address is outside of Japan-
Since Ponta Point can not be used outside of Japan, customers' who have registered an address outside of Japan will not be able to receive Ponta Point. As of August 15, 2011 customers' who have registered an address outside of Japan will be receiving ONLINE GIFT VOUCHER.
