ウェス・モンゴメリー（John Leslie Montgomery 1923年3月6日～1968年6月15日）はアメリカ合衆国インディアナ州インディアナポリス生まれのジャズ・ギタリスト。アルバムは1960年の録音で絶好調のウェスに大物リズム隊との顔合わせの逸品。大物リズム隊とはピアノのトミー・フラナガン、ベースのパーシー・ヒース、ドラムのアルバート・ヒースの兄弟のこと。タイトル通り信じられないギターテクニックをたっぷり聴くことができる。
