Standards 2, Movie Music is the follow-up album to the Grammy-nominated Fuzzy Music recording Standards. Pianist Alan Pasqua and drummer Peter Erskine return, along with bassist Darek Oles and saxophonist Bob Mintzer. Using a KMF Audio Stereo Tube Microphone in the recording process, the music comes across with perfect clearness and a three dimensional soundscape that adds to the deferential arrangements that the musicians have written for the compositions.
