    前作「ビギンズ」で「バットマンのテーマを作らない」...

    前作「ビギンズ」で「バットマンのテーマを作らない」という、これまでの「バットマン」とは全く違うアプローチを見せた音楽チームが、今度は「ジョーカーのテーマ」に挑戦。冒頭で聴けるキリキリ音が鳴ると不吉な予感＝ジョーカーがどこかに、という演出と相まって、はっきりとしたテーマやメロディをもたないにもかかわらず頭に焼き付いて離れない。ハービー・デントにはジェームズ・ニュートン・ハワードが得意とする権威象徴的な格調高い音楽が付けられ、アクションシーンではハンス・ジマー節がアツい。が、よく聴くと一番盛り上がっている曲は前作とあまり変わらなかったり。
