東京とパリで録音された大貫妙子通算6枚目のアルバム。東京録音のアレンジは坂本龍一、パリ録音のアレンジは、フィルム・コンポーザー、フランシス・レイのアレンジや映画「愛と哀しみのボレロ」の音楽監督としても知られるジャン・ムジーが担当。「黒のクレール」「色彩都市」「ピーターラビットとわたし」を含む大貫妙子初期を代表するアルバム。オリジナル・リリーズ：1982年9月21日。
アナログ再発に際して、オリジナル・マスターテープから96KHz/24bitにデジタル変換したハイスペック音源データをもとに、世界的名匠バーニー・グランドマンがリマスタリングとカッティングを施し、国内Sony DADC Japanにてプレス生産した完全生産限定盤。
