とにかくすごいです。最初から最後まで緊張感が伝わってきます。このコンビのR.シュトラウスの中でも最高傑作の１つ。録音も約半世紀前(1956年)のものとしては優秀。惜しむらくは「町人貴族」組曲に２曲欠落があることくらいか。
